Responsibilities:

The Bellman is responsible for maintaining the lobby cleanliness and replenishing the lobby amenities during their shift. They will accommodate the guests and assist with their luggage to and from the lobby and the guest(s) room. They are responsible for keeping track of all the bell carts, and ensuring that no carts are utilized by a guest if unattended by a bell captain.   The Bellman works under the Transportation Director and alongside fellow bellman and Valet staff. He/she is responsible for retrieving/delivery guest(s) items including but not limited to luggage, laundry, personal items, and packages. He/she will assist Valet in issuing tickets on drive during busy times when there are no deliveries or guest requests. The Bellman is responsible for the cleanliness of the bell carts and organization of the bell closet. Bellman must be able to lift in excess of 100lbs and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.    Key Qualifications:
  • Must capture one guest preference per check-in and act on it before the guest(s) departure from the property
  • Must be polite and professional at all times and ensure no guest luggage is lost or misplaced
  • Must keep a daily log of bell runs and ensure all guests request are serviced within 10 minutes of contact
  • Must maintain updated knowledge of the hotel’s facilities and amenities at all times
  • Be aware of upcoming and current events at the property, and the surrounding areas
